Well, I took this one night. I wasn't factoring for the dramatic lens distortion of my stock camera lens, so it isn't GOOD or anything. Just a little compilation of what my old view used to look like out my window on the Island. Anyway, I like it. It's fun to view with the Windows Picture and Fax viewer, as it scales without making it alias. :D

~ enjoy!

Some technical insight: For the pan to work, the camera has to be rotating on the image plane (think 35mm still photog; where the film sits in the camera).

So the camera has to sit forwars a little bit more than usual, so the epicenter of tripod, is also where the CMOS (digital) is sitting.

Easily found and looks like a circle with a line through it ;)

Totally. Also, you'd need to use some better software, like RealViz' Stitcher.

It's called a Nodal Pan. In vfx anyway.

This one was supposed to look the way I made it, kinda jumpy and off-aligned. I liked it, but to everyone else it seemed like a mistake. :(
